Ottawa University women win 67-61 over Saint Mary

Ottawa University coach Bruce Tate urged calm on offense as Amber Ramsey nears return from a hand injury. Senior Shannon Carlin led with 24 points, seven rebounds, and three steals as Ottawa built a 38-26 halftime edge and held off a Saint Mary rally to win 67-61 at Wilson Field House. The defense forced 24 Saint Mary turnovers and yielded 25 points off them. Paige Gibson hit a late dagger three to seal the victory.
