A 48 year old Ottawa man reported at 6 53 p m Monday that an unknown suspect broke a window at his home on Idaho Road and stole several items.

Unattended death and theft incidents reported in Ottawa

Ottawa Police Department logs multiple incidents across the city. An unattended death on North Oak Street involved a 52 year old woman from Ottawa dying of natural causes. Other reports include a 27 year old man battered by a known woman, vehicle thefts, home invasion, copper wire theft, pallet business break‑in, bicycle theft, and a two vehicle collision on Main Street with no injuries.

Moran urges Boeing to convey Wichita plant to aid growth

U S Senator Jerry Moran asks Boeing CEO James McNerney to discuss transferring the Wichita plant to a local or state development authority as Boeing plans to close the facility by year end 2013. The plant employs 2160 workers and Wichita has supported the project with billions in tax incentives and bonds. A Boeing spokesman calls conveying the property an option but says timing is unclear.

Bombardier expands Learjet site in Wichita adding 450 jobs
