Stolen TV at Walmart and unpaid fuel at Casey's

An unknown suspect stole a 42 inch television from Walmart on Princeton Road while another unknown suspect left without paying for fuel at Casey's General Store on 334 North Main Street. A 30 year old Ottawa woman reported the unpaid pump incident.

Wellsville Fire Department Responds to Grass Fire and Gas Air

On Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. in the 700 block of Main Street officers assisted outside agency. At 3:59 p.m. Shawnee and Vermont roads crews responded to a grass fire. A later call from 510 East 2nd Street reported a possible natural gas air.

Kansan plans to arrest Obama ends in failure

Neil Jednoralski of Salina claimed to have used handcuffs and four guns to arrest President Obama for alleged fraud and ineligibility. Officials informed the Secret Service, which safeguarded the president during Osawatomie speech week. Jednoralski faced trespass warnings and retained a claimed arrest warrant.
