Osceola Nebraska September 21 1942. Polk County Board of Commissioners met in regular session with all members present. Claims were audited and allowed. warrants ordered drawn against various funds in the amounts shown.
A detailed list shows General Fund and Emergency Relief expenditures for Polk County Nebraska including salaries for County Treasurer County Clerk and Sheriff and various suppliers. A September 21 1948 resolution directs Polk County Treasurer to partially release a lien on Nobles Lesner property tied to Old Age Assistance payments and confirms adoption with all commissioners voting affirmatively.
The Board of County Commissioners adjourned with no further business and set a meeting date for October 5 1948. The Headlight was designated to print the delinquent tax list for 1947 at half the legal rate, with other county papers printing in adjacent territories. Approved: John S.
