Under the American Legion, Osceola will mark Armistice Day on November 11 with a big parade and auditorium exercises, a motion picture, and a dance in the evening. The full program is to be announced next week and residents are urged to keep the date free.

Osceola Defeats Geneva 7-0 On Home Field

Osceola High School defeated Geneva 7-0 on October 22 at home. Geneva threatened early but the strong Osceola line held. In the second half the Osceola backfield drive scored and Yeltman kicked the extra point. time ran out before another touchdown. Next game is at Fullerton on October 29.

Business Women's League Plans Bazaar Fundraiser

Last Monday evening the Business Women's League met at the Matheson home with twenty members and two visitors. They voted to hold a bazaar to raise club funds, set for December 4, with location to be announced. A special meeting Friday will work on bazaar details at the County Agent's office. The group will meet Lydia Addisor on November 8 to push preparations, then adjourn after lunch.
