Notice of sewer tax fifthieth and last Osceola installment
The fiftieth and last installment of the Lateral assessment in the City of Osceola for Lateral Sewers will be due and delinquent Oct. 12, 1924, and if not paid on or before that date bears interest at the rate of one percent per month from said date until paid. Car overturns near Buchta farm injures Mrs Koehler
Mrs. John Koehler narrowly escaped serious injury when her car rolled over Tuesday evening on a hill near the Adam Buchta farm after brakes failed. Her son Billie jumped clear and unharmed. Mrs Koehler escaped with minor injuries.

The Silent Six Birthday Club was entertained Tuesday at a one o'clock luncheon by Mrs. A. N. Lund of Stromsburg. This evening the members of this club and their husbands enjoyed a seven o'clock dinner. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Fullmoan, Mr and Mrs. Homer Hartson were pleasantly surprised Monday evening when the carriers and their wives called on them. The evening was enjoyed informally and refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Hartson were presented with a console set by their guests. The Young Woman's Missionary Kensington will meet with Madge Moore Oct. 21st at 7:30. This will be a guest meeting.
