Former Polk County Woman Sues for 13452 Breach of Promise
Mrs Mildred E. Honnell, formerly of Polk County, sues Fred Campbell of Lincoln in Lancaster County District Court for breach of promise alleging he proposed marriage on Sept 15 1927 and Oct 1 1927 and led her to quit nursing job with a return date set for Dec 15 1936. Campbell denies all charges and testifies about meetings and housing, as well as a stock debt of 112 dollars.

Neal McNaught sold 75 bushels of alfalfa seed for 1170 on 85 acres. Guy Shenk, northwest of town, deposited 2056 for 112 bushels from 35 acres at up to 18.45 per bushel. J J Belsley of Omaha owns the farm. Polk county farmers show strong alfalfa profits this year.

Anna Campbell born December 29 1869 near Fountelle Iowa died October 6 1937 at Fairbury Nebraska. She moved from Osceola to Lincoln in 1919 then to Fairbury in 1928 with her sister Mrs Mickey. Survived by sisters Mrs Mary Pyle and Mrs Flora Mickey and brothers James Campbell and John Campbell. Funeral services were held October 8 1937 in Fairbury with burial at Osceola cemetery.
