Osceola Names Native Don Cook Elementary Principal
Native Nebraskan Don Cook is the new elementary principal of Osceola schools based at Jeffrey Grade School. A Hastings College graduate with a 1973 master’s in education, he comes from Pierce where he led elementary schools for three years. He has 15 years of Nebraskan and Iowan teaching, 10 in coaching. avid golfer and bicycle advocate. He and wife Lois Ann have two sons, Don Jr. and Doug. Cook is a U S Army veteran with 18 months in Germany and belongs to Lions, Masons, and United Methodist Church, residing at 560 South Kimmel.
