Nebraska turkey production earns attention as American Stores orders 10 000 birds from North Platte Valley. Omaha shipments come from Wyoming, with Sidney and Scottybluff supplying much of the stock. Prices range from 12 to 28 1/4 cents per pound, No 2 turkeys at 12 cents. Last year 21 carloads sold. this year expected near that total. Nebraska poultry last year weighed 38 545 pounds at 188 cents per pound, bringing sellers 7 246 000 dollars.
