Nebraska plates switch to year first colors and insignia positions under a new plan to curb forgery. State officials say alternating color schemes statewide will continue annually with 1937 plates featuring aluminum numbers on black field and selling for up to 200 dollars for trucks, with sales in Osceola after Christmas.

Stoner Club Elects Officers for 1937 at Osceola Meeting
Stoner Club met on Wednesday November 18 in Osceola with 21 members and two visitors. Della Johnson was chosen as president with Ruby Lewis vice president and Lillian Brown secretary. Mae Scholz assistant secretary and Daisy Zang treasurer. Members shared first Thanksgiving travel by vehicle and agreed to a 10 cent gift exchange at the December meeting hosted by Vinnie McKeag.
