Osceola Woman's Club Reports November Meetings
The Literature Department met at Mrs. I. D. Huston's home with seven members, discussing Subsistence Homesteads and a book review by Mrs. W. H. Clark. The Music Department at the schoolhouse had seventeen members starting a Song Cycle from Faust. Junior Literature met with fifteen members, led by Mrs. A. B. Ninquist, Mrs. C. R. Collins, and Mrs. Charles Hastings, with China, Philippine Islands, and India topics. A general club meeting is set for Monday evening December 3, and all members are urged to attend.

Osceola Hospital Reports Discharges and Surgery
Mrs Gust Boden and infant Marian Lucille were released from Osceola Hospital and returned home. Mrs W B Dake entered on Friday and underwent an operation Tuesday morning with Dr Kennedy of Omaha and Dr R L Schroeder assisting. Miss Ferne Dake of Omaha cares for her mother. Laura Rech was discharged after a recent operation by Dr Harley Eklund.

Obituary of Mrs Fred Anderson of Osceola
Mrs Anna Stina Johnson known as Mrs Fred Anderson died at 86 years 11 months 17 days after a long illness. She married Fred Anderson in 1873, emigrated to America in 1880, lived near Swede Home then Osceola. Survived by three of seven children Marie Hobson Hilma Whelan and J Fred Anderson. Funeral at Kepner Funeral Home November 20 with Rev Paul Melin sermon and burial at Swede Home Cemetery.
