Woman's Club Holds Semi Monthly Meeting
The regular semi monthly meeting of the Woman's Club was held Monday evening at the school house with good attendance. The general meeting occurred in the high school assembly followed by department gatherings. Obituary of Mrs. Victor Fernandez in Osceola Lutheran Church service
Mrs. Victor Fernandez born Anna Lovisa Tarson in Kristinehamn Sweden March 14 1854 came to America in 1872 and settled in Escanaba Michigan later living near Holdrege and Chappell Nebraska. She died November 11 after influenza at age 68 with three weeks of illness. She leaves husband Victor Fernandez four children eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral at St Paul Lutheran Osceola on November 20 with burial in Osceola Cemetery.

Wesley Chapel Woman's Club Holds November Meeting
The Wesley Chapel Woman's Club met November 15 at Miss Lulu Burns home. Thirteen members and five visitors attended. Vice President Olive Hayhurst led the meeting with a song and the roll call used a favorite kitchen motto. Extension class on Wash Day Supplies was led by Mrs Maude Richards and substitute Mrs Margaret Richards. A flower march followed. Plans for a December 6 Christmas party at 2 PM at Mrs Hannah Herrmanns home were announced with guests Welcome. Refreshments were served and the meeting adjourned.

Early life and death of Joseph B Wolfe in Nebraska
Joseph B Wolfe born June 14 1860 in Fayette County Pennsylvania grew to adulthood in Kansas before marrying Mary Wilgus in November 1886. The couple had seven children and resided in Yutan and Osceola Nebraska where his wife died in 1910. He remarried Lula Benson in 1913, later dying November 13 in Grand Island at age 68 years 5 months. Funeral rites were held in Osceola and at the Methodist Church with Rev Handel Collier officiating.
