Remembering John Ed Campbell A Beloved Osceola Youth

Obituary and memorial note for John Ed Campbell born June 19 1916 Osceola Nebraska who died November 11 1928 at St Marys Hospital Columbus Nebraska. He was a bright student leader and musician and his funeral was at the Presbyterian Church with a large community tribute. Burial followed in Osceola Cemetery.

American Legion Auxiliary Plans November Meeting

The American Legion Auxiliary will meet at the G A R hall on Friday November 16 at 1 00 PM for a luncheon. A committee of Mrs Shaw Mrs Hansen Mrs Schumann Mrs Beatty Mrs Van Hoosen and Mrs Amlerson will serve. After lunch members will sew quilts and there will be officer elections prompting full attendance.

Maple Leaf Club Holds November Meeting and Plans

The Maple Leaf Club met Thursday afternoon November 8 at Mrs. Pauline Morys home with low attendance due to bad roads. The regular meeting scheduled for today was postponed to November 21. The annual supper is set for Friday evening November 23 at Mrs. Lucy Miller’s home. Next meeting will feature a demonstration.
