Itinerant held for further investigation near Osceola
An itinerant white male identified as Charles W. Phillips, 49, of Chicago, was arrested Friday night near Osceola on a temporary vagrancy charge and held for State Patrol inquiry. He earlier entered a farm home near Shelby and demanded money, grappled with a householder, and fled. A Nebraska State Patrol officer will question him this week as investigators seek his identity and background. Sixty Rising City students saw Peter Pan at Muse Theatre. Mrs. Henry Augustin returned from Mayo Clinic. Eugene Johansen is home from Rochester with Mrs. Donal Wieseman.

Death of Eisemann Baby at Travis Air Base
Mr and Mrs Albert Timm report the death of their great grandson Joseph William Eisemann born to Sgt and Mrs Allan L Eisemann at Mather Air Base Sacramento. He died at Travis Air Base San Francisco after living one week. Grandmother is the former Mary Mae Timm.
