District consolidates and expands with new school plan and district merge
The school board approved tentative plans for a new kindergarten to sixth grade building wired with revisions from the district advisory board. Walter Wilson of Davis and Wilson led the Lin coln Nebraska firm in the project with blueprints to be drafted in 60 to 90 days and bid notices to follow in about 30 days. District 68 northeast of Osceola joined District 19, dividing four sections and 40 acres, boosting District 19’s valuation by an estimated 120000 to 130000 to about 5300000. Bond issuance for District 19 bonds is being prepared and transferred to Dr Charles W Jeffrey. Other districts may join District 19, further increasing valuation.
