Lloyd Wamsley dies after stroke in Silver Creek
Funeral services were held for Lloyd Wamsley 59 at Fleming Chapel Silver Creek with burial in the Silver Creek Cemetery. He died Friday morning after a Thursday stroke at St Marys hospital Columbus. Surviving are his wife two sons John and Lloyd Denver a daughter Annette six grandchildren and two sisters. The OO F Lodge No 44 Columbus led graveside rites with local and honorary mourners present. born August 8 1897 he lived in Polk county Nebraska and Strasburg Colorado before settling southeast of Silver Creek. He was active in the Silver Creek Methodist church and Odd Fellows lodge for 37 years.
