Sincere thanks to all who remembered me with cards gifts visits and prayers during my lengthy hospital stay. Also thanks to Harold Thayer for sending me the Osceola Record. These acts were very much appreciated.

Memorial services for Mrs. Harold W Johnson will be at Swede Home Cemetery on Monday May 31 1971 at 9 am Pastor Swasko will speak with youth and children from Sunday School taking part Calvary Choir and Junior Chorus will sing Seating is provided Nearby residents and relatives attended visits and gatherings in the days around the service including Mr and Mrs Ronald Sarow and families Mrs Theron Carlson traveled from Littleton Colorado for the 10th anniversary class party and Alum ni banquet at York Country Club several residents hosted and visited others in Osceola Grand Island Central City and Creston Iowa notes of plane travel and family get togethers are included.
Osceola hosts graduation for Gary Gabel at Aquinas David City with relatives from Omaha Columbus Norfolk and Shelby in attendance. Linda Meister and Sharon Meister travel from Omaha for ceremonies while others visit and offer post graduation tea and meals.
