Seventeen Osceola seniors complete high school with programs next week. Baccalaureate at 8 p m Sunday May 16 in the school auditorium with Rev John H Howe delivering the sermon. Commencement Thursday May 20 at the same auditorium with Prof Harold Wise of Nebraska University giving the address. Valedictorian Doris Kennedy Salutatorian Gloria Jones named. Faculty Honored by Methodist Youth Fellowship Farewell Roast
The Methodist Youth Fellowship hosted a farewell Wiener roast at the Osceola park cabin Monday night honoring faculty members leaving next year. About 35 MYF members joined most faculty as songs filled the cabin rafters. Rev and Mrs Randall received a gift for their years of service, then Elton Berck’s barn hosted a traditional barn dance led by Supt Hanson with Swing Your Partner and do-si do.

Donald Pickett Weds California Girl in San Diego
Donald Pickett and Miss Ethel Green of National City California wed at the Wedding Bell Chapel in San Diego on May 7 officiated by Rev. Sanders. The bride wore a gray dress suit with red accessories, and the couple planned a honeymoon to Riverside and Lake Arrowhead California.
