Thomas Meacham born April 7 1875 near Mors Bluff Saunders County Nebraska moved with family to Fairview Community Polk County Nebraska. He married Joy Staley October 16 1899 and had four sons Lawrence Floyd Vance Virgil. He joined Fairview Methodist Church April 23 1922 retired to Osceola 1950 and died at the Social Center Rest Home April 27 aging 85 years.
Mrs. Carrie Shank of Yankton South Dakota and Mrs. Maude DeRush of Luserne Valley California are listed with two brothers William Meacham Green Bay Wisconsin and Lewis Meacham Opportunity Washington, two grandchildren Laurie Joy and Donald Vance Meacham Lynwood California. Thomas was preceded in death by three sons Lawrence Floyd and Vance one sister Jewel Shank one brother John Meacham and his parents. He was laid to rest in Osceola Cemetery. May God Bless the Memory of our departed Brother.

Emma Charlotte Van Horn born September 27, 1883 near Osceola Nebraska to Peter and Brita Hanson. She lived on a farm near Osceola and later in Osceola before moving to Grand Island. She died April 28, 1961 after a stroke at age 77. Survived by daughter Clyde R Kingsley and two grandsons Robert and Donald Kingsley. She was a member of Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge and Trinity Methodist Church.
