Osceola Polk County 1955 Proceedings Pay Claims

Polk County Nebraska officials audited and allowed numerous claims in the March 22 1955 session. Salaries, supplies, insurance, and service charges were approved with details listed for each item and department. A resolution on retail beer licenses and a bond and insurance actions were noted, plus February fee allocations to the county treasury. Adjourned to April 5 1955.

Farmers Union Co op Oil Association Amends Articles

The 28th annual meeting at Polk Nebraska on March 5 1955 approved striking out Article VIII of the amended Articles restricting indebtedness to two thirds of paid up capital. Notice of amendment was given to shareholders more than ten days prior. Myron Jones president and Walter B Jones secretary sign the document.
