Mrs Laoma Clark died after a month long illness at age 71 years 7 months and 20 days in Osceola Nebraska. Born Laoma Kingsolver in Missouri August 6 1863 she lived with relatives in Illinois Iowa and Nebraska before marrying Liberty Clark on September 23 1883. The couple raised a family on a farm near Osceola later moving to town. Surviving children include Ray A Clark Duane C Clark Earl E Clark Opal L Patron Verne D Clark Laoma Mae Bentley and others with several siblings listed. Funeral services were held at the Osceola Methodist Church with Rev W H Wright officiating and burial in Osceola Cemetery.

Former Osceola Resident Cora Gushee Dies in Utah
Osceola native Mrs. Cora Olivia Gushee died March 2 1935 in Ogden Utah at the home of her son in law and daughter Eva. She was born April 7 1861 in Springville Wisconsin and moved to Osceola with her family in 1874. Surviving are daughter Eva three brothers a sister four grandchildren and a great grandchild. Funeral services were held at the Osceola Presbyterian Church with interment in Osceola Cemetery.
