Mrs Ace V Tyrrell dies in Cheyenne Wyoming from pneumonia after an operation. Born Esther Margaret Smith in 1904 at Inman Nebraska she grew up in Columbus and Osceola. She married Leo O Connor in 1927 and later married Ace Tyrrell in 1929. Survived by husband son Billie 6 daughter Jannett 3 father W H Smith steps, sister and brother-in-law and other relatives.

A Wednesday evening banquet in the Home Economics Room celebrated the 1933th death anniversary of Caesar with a Roman theme. The event featured a Caesar center piece, purple and gold decorations, and nut cups shaped as chariots. Cases settled. Polk County jury term ends without trials
The spring jury term in Polk County closed with no jury trials. Two damage cases were settled out of court last week and a third is in settlement. Jurors were notified not to appear. Judge Hastings presided Monday morning and cleared court matters.

A nine pound baby daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Sauter at the hospital Saturday, March 11. She has been named Carolyn Lou. Miss Maxene Werbes underwent an operation for the removal of her tonsils on Monday. Dr. Best came from Omaha on Wednesday to perform major surgery on S. W. Burke residing west of Osceola.
