Osceola City Council Minutes February 3 1955
The Osceola Nebraska City Council met with Mayor Bond and Councilmen Sigler Johnson Sedlak and Mills. Bills were approved and the treasurer's monthly statement filed. The council adopted an annexation resolution for adjacent real estate and passed Ordinance No. 243 after full readings. The fire equipment fund was transferred to the fire protection fund. Adjournment followed.

Osceola district Class C basketball run brings wins over Clarks and Gresham with a pep rally and advancing to the Friday championship versus Concordia. The week also features a Marimba program at the high school and Regents Exams led by the University of Nebraska.

Osceola Hospital Dismissals Include Seaberg Family
Mrs. Oliver Seaberg and her son James Allan were discharged Monday from Osceola hospital and returned to their Stromsburg area home. Mrs. Tillman Joy visited Omaha last week, stayed with daughter Mrs Milo Cochrane and family, and traveled back with Mr Joy on Sunday.
