University Symphonic Band to Perform in Osceola

The 90 member University of Nebraska Symphonic Band will give a concert March 16 at 8 pm in the Osceola High School auditorium. Admission is 75 cents for adults and 35 cents for children. Mother of Osceola Man Dies in Wisconsin

Mar and Mrs F E Goerlinger were called to Clintonville Wisconsin February seven to be at the bedside of his critically ill mother who died February seventeenth at age fifty six. Services were in St Rose Catholic Church with burial in Clintonville Cemetery. Survivors include her husband and two grandchildren. The Goerlingers had visited Osceola and spent Christmas and New Year with their son.

Work Resumed On Annie Jeffrey Memorial Hospital Project

Construction on the Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Hospital resumes with two crews on site last Tuesday bricklayers finishing the foundation and a steel crew starting the skeleton. D L Moffitt estimates 60 working days to enclosure and plans for concrete floor pouring next week with outer walls to follow. The project aims for late summer occupancy and eventual equipment transition from Osceola City Hospital.
