Local residents enjoy parish picnic and family visits
Visitors from Osceola and surrounding towns gathered for the St. Andrew's parish picnic in Columbus Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Tread Way hosted guests, and Dale Dunn and Danny attended. Several families, including the Wilcoxs, SchnassEs, Mantheys, and Timm, spent time in Lincoln and Osceola for visits and summer plans. An Osceola fire department call at the Joe Simonsen farm ended without damage. Charles Olson and Mrs. Harold Anderson headed to Oregon for a relatives visit, with returns planned.
