High School Annuals Arrive Distribution Night

Mrs Albert Zang 73 formerly of Osceola died May 27 in a Newton Iowa hospital after a long illness. A daughter Mrs Ted Rutter of Newton survives. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Kepner Funeral Home with Rev R V Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Osceola cemetery.

Garden Club Creates Flower Beds At Local Hospital
The Osceola Garden Club undertakes two large flower beds at Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Hospital. Club volunteers prepared the ground and planted. Some blooms are appearing now with more to come, and ongoing care is pledged by the members. The beds sit along the grassway near the parking exit, and the hospital expresses sincere thanks.
