Funeral services were held at Kepner Funeral Home Osceola Cemetery burial followed. He married Mabel Ashwill July 30 1913. she died May 19 1949. Survived by son George Jr Omaha two other sons Gilbert Brooks deceased and another daughter in law and three grandchildren plus eight siblings across several states. He spent most of life in Nebraska with ten years in North Dakota before illness left him bedfast.
