Obituary of George A Brooke Prominent Osceola businessman dies
George Arthur Brooke born December 19 1872 in Tiskilwa Illinois died after a stroke July 3 in Kimball Nebraska. He moved to Nebraska around 1898 married Mabel Pratt in Osceola and ran a hotel and later a drug business in Polk County. He leaves wife two daughters three grandchildren two siblings and many relatives. Funeral held at Wm Grossnicklaus home Osceola with Rev Albert Monkman officiating and burial in Osceola Cemetery.
