The Eastern Star gathering honored Mr. and Mrs. Mickey as they prepare to move to California for health reasons. The large attendance included nearly all members who enjoyed music speeches and a three course luncheon. Mrs. Mickey received an elegant O E S pin from Mrs. S. O. Whaley as parting tribute with warm wishes for their future.
Numerous residents and visitors pass through Osceola on business and social calls. Names include John Lanham, J. P. Heald, M. A. Mills Jr., Art Johnson, Edsain Johnson, Golnke, Julius Eichener, Carl Frahm, Mrs. Gilmore, Sheriff Potter, Attorney Campbell, Nels Anderson, J. A. Albin, E. Milkey, John G. Swanton, Chas. Clark, BE. H Lindquist, Misses Pearl Hamiston and Jessica Smith, and many others as they attend meetings, sales, and events at the high school and city venues.
The Record notes Chas. Reisdorff remains critically ill with relatives summoned from many areas having arrived. Brief bulletins describe his condition as very critical, with sinking spells indicating a steadily lowering state as the paper goes to press.
The Timm Factory, maker of grain and hay covers, hog and chicken houses, operates at full capacity to fill orders. Besides owner Mr. Timm, staff includes George Wolfe R A Mills and Will Mickey. more workers will be used as lumber and fan shipment arrive. The plant recently completed fifteen hog houses for A Schott on the valley, each 614 feet square and 6 feet high, and is shipping a dozen more for bottom parties. A car of steel arrived last week and more materials are in transit. Osceola residents welcome the plant’s success and its growth from a small seedling operation.

A party of about ay score friends surprised Mrs. A P Tilley last Thursday for her 73rd birthday. Guests enjoyed refreshments and presented gifts to commemorate the occasion and show their esteem.
Dr. B. M. Lene D. D. of Lincoln Nebraska serves as State Superintendent of Evangelism for the Synod of Nebraska and will conduct four days of special meetings starting March 4. Citizens urged to plan attendance at all sessions.
The Baptist church announces regular Sunday services on February 28 1915 with morning topic Justification and evening Paul’s Gospel. Sunday School starts at 10 o’clock. All welcome. Pastor Ralph A Jensen.
The M B Church reports 28 days of special meetings closed Tuesday with a large turnout. A reception and baptismal service follow Sunday morning, with an evangelistic sermon that evening. Epworth League and Men s Free Forum attend in the Brotherhood room at 10 a m for open discussion.
