Charles Reisdorff died at Osceola Nebraska on February 26 1915 after a paralytic stroke and years of decline. His funeral will be held at St Marys Catholic Church in Osceola with interment in the David City cemetery. He was born in Sandweiser Luxemburg October 15 1645 and came to America in 1869 living in Chicago before moving to Polk County Nebraska with his wife Anna Waster in 1874. He leaves eight children Peter John James and Anita plus Michael and Jacob and a surviving daughter Elizabeth who died earlier. The family and community extend condolences.
Herbert J Brien died at his home on Monday February 22 at age 83 after weeks of typhoid pneumonia. He lived in Nebraska most of his life and was married to Milldred Davis of Silver Creek. Survived by a daughter and several siblings, he served in the Columbus Fire department and belonged to Modern Woodmen and the Masons. Funeral held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Congregational Church with the Masonic service at the graves.
