Hackberry reports visiting neighbors from Hamburg Iowa and Central City. A large crowd attended the Victor school house basket social with a lively bidding and high quality program. Chet Cunningham of Valley Ice Co. imported ice into Polk County and promotes ice cream. Rabbit hunt at Blue River Hall drew thirty large rabbits and a noon banquet of varied rabbit dishes. Mart Kosobender has had the night horse. Dave Bleir and Emmett Beebe are improving. another hunt is planned today pending press time.
