Obituary of Ella Schmoker Hennings Dies in Star City
Mrs Ella Schmoker Hennings, wife of A H Hennings, died February 2 after a lingering illness at Star City Sask born July 17 1882 Osceola Nebraska married December 25 1900 to Asmus Hennings. They moved to Star City in 1910 and later retired there. She was active in United Church Ladies Aid for 40 years and survived by husband two sons Milton Star City and Jarhes Chokceland Sask a daughter Ethel Abigail Garner of Star City six grandchildren one sister and two brothers with one daughter Grace predeceased. Funeral held February 5 at the family home conducted by Rev J E Davies with six nephews as pallbearers. Interment Star City cemetery.

The Legion Post approved donations of 100 to the March of Dimes 150 to the local Boy Scout Troop and 25 to the Red Cross.
