Hospital Notes From Osceola Area
Claus Anderson was treated at Osceola Hospital by Dr. R L Schroeder and returned home yesterday. Mrs David Jones and infant Duane David left the hospital and went home west of Osceola Tuesday. Mrs Clair McCormick of Stromsburg had a minor operation at Osceola Hospital performed by Dr Schroeder and returned home Sunday. Mrs Morris Richards and son Morris LaVerne were discharged Saturday to their home northeast of Osceola.

Mrs. John Rasp hosted relatives for a birthday at her home. Ernest and Susie Dexter visited from Lincoln. The Polk County Ministerial Association met at the Shelby A B church with Hope Circle serving dinner. Several Shelby residents and students at the state university spent weekends with relatives. An oyster supper marked a birthday gathering at Roy Johnson's. Marie Hastert and Anne O’Brien were among visitors. Miss Hastert is recovering from appendicitis.
