The annual Family Fun Feed at the M E B Church Osceola Tuesday February 1 at 630 pm features four members of the Harold Cockson orchestra from Columbus, plus community singing and readings. He lived in Polk County Nebraska Illinois Central Railroad worker turned blacksmith. Survived by eight children 24 grandchildren eight great grandchildren a sister and two brothers. He wished to be buried beside grandchildren in Osceola cemetery.

South Shelby Club Holds All Day Meeting At Island Home
The South Shelby Club met Thursday January 30 at Mrs Geo Island's home. Fifteen families attended, eleven members, totaling thirty two people. A noon dinner was served and a brief business session followed. A thank you from Child's Saving Institute and a note from the Woman's Federated Club were read.
