A large gathering at Stromsburg marks Mrs. Knerr’s eightieth birthday with relatives from Shelby Weese Nebr Benedict and Lincoln. Guests include Mr and Mrs J Knerr Geo Hollister and families, with toasts and a shared meal as well wishes for many more celebrations.
Mrs J E McDaniel has been ill at home for a week. H L Stankel transacted business at Osceola. J O Thomas made a business trip to Stromsburg. Garnet Cypher visited her grandmother in Stromsburg. C O Norton and Miss Hanneh Lind were Lincoln visitors. Frank Colson stayed in Stromsburg over Sunday night. Dr Westfall was in Stromsburg Thursday evening. Jarmin and Andy Christensen accompanied the stock. Calmar McCune and wife of Stromsburg were Sunday guests of C C and family. Lulu Benjamin left for Grand Island to attend Baptist College. Rev Carl Mellberg holds evangelistic meetings at Stromsburg Swedish Methodist Church with Rev O L Palm. Mrs Chas Bodine rode to Stromsburg to visit relatives. Mr and Mrs Emel Meerkatz welcome a baby boy. Mrs J A Plessinger entertained her Sunday school class at home.
