Donald D. Prell, 20, enlisted January 28 1941. He trained as a radio technician at Jefferson Barracks Missouri Selfridge Field Michigan Scott Field Illinois and Key Field Mississippi. He became an aviation cadet and is now at Ryan School of Aeronautics Hemet California. He is son of Mr and Mrs R R Prell.

The Osceola Bulldogs first team went 1-1 last week, beating David City 27 15 and losing to Stromsburg 40 17. Mills Parks and Cole led scoring in the David City win, while Mills topped Osceola with eight in the Stromsburg loss. Rolland Gissler had six in the town rivalry 21 20 victory over Shelby.
