They married December 14 1864 in Three Rivers Michigan and later settled near Osceola Nebraska with 13 children 25 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A family dinner at noon and public reception 2 to 5 pm are planned at their Osceola home.

Local merchants set a goose parade in Osceola this Saturday at 1 30 pm with live dressed geese on display at several shops. Geese will remain for a week before being given to Santa Claus who will arrive at 4 00 pm with goodies for children.
