Mr and Mrs John Rasp O A Watkins and Walter Michener went to Lincoln briefly. A Shelby carnival on Friday December 2 raised funds for the Shelby School Library. A basketball game saw Waco beat Shelby 25 to 23. Mr and Mrs Charles Kuntzelman returned home after visiting their son Edwin McCool.

Bridge Club Organized Hosts First Meeting

A new Bridge Club organized last week met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Byers on Thursday evening. A seven o'clock dinner was served and the group played bridge afterward. High scores were won by Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Mills and the consolation by Mrs. John Rogers.
