Actions include releasing assistance liens on two parcels, purchasing a borrow pit for road use, designating Stromsburg Bank as county depository, and authorizing a culvert installation for irrigation. Mrs Nellie Benson Polly Newcomb visited Lydia Pope in Osceola and Clyde Cannon in hospital. Various families hosted dinners and visited across Osceola Fremont Clarks Grand Island and Omaha. Thanksgiving gatherings included the Hardle home and many relatives from Central City Grand Island and Denver.

Mr and Mrs Bill Ferris Ver neta and Karen visited Pueblo Colorado to spend the holiday weekend with the farmers son in law and daughter Mr and Mrs Donald Evans. Mr and Mrs J H Gustafson hosted Mr and Mrs Morris Richards and family Mr and Mrs Mark Gustafson and Gary at an oyster supper. Mrs Sam Cadwell hosted the Beulah Cemetery Society and Mrs R N Hastings led the meeting. Mrs Dennis Jones and Mrs Kenneth Upton of Lincoln with Mrs Mervin Johnson hosted a shower for the new baby son of Mr and Mrs Rich and LeRoy Johnson of Lincoln with about 13 guests. The Buhl family celebrated Thanksgiving with Mr and Mrs Robert Vizal in Omaha and Bud Deeds with Roc Miller hosted Thanksgiving at the home of Mrs Flossie Deeds.
