Peterson Reunion Held at Buckley Park
The 138th Peterson reunion gathered August 19 at Buckley Park with 66 of 112 members present. Eight members served in the military. four births and three marriages noted. Ernest Carlson elected President, Edgar Peterson 1st Vice, Clarence Carlson 2nd Vice, Miss Lillie Chindgren re elected secretary and historian. Next annual meeting planned for the third Sunday in August.

Ernstine Sievert 87 Dies. Wisconsin to Nebraska Pioneer
Ernstine Sievert born March 21 1858 in Falkenburg Germany died August 14 1945 at age 87 4 14 after long illness. She wed Aug Wilhelm Sievert who died July 26 1929. Immigrants who settled in Wisconsin before moving to Butler County and Polk County Nebraska. Survived by six children 20 grandchildren 23 great grandchildren a sister and numerous neighbors. Six grandsons serve in the U S military. She valued hard work neighborliness and faith.
