Platte pipeline dedication links Wyoming to Illinois refineries
The one thousand one hundred forty nine mile Platte line was formally dedicated last Sunday from near Casper Wyoming to the Wood River Illinois oil refineries. It passes within a few miles of Wymore and Wy more facilities are finished enabling operation by manual control or through a Kansas City microwave network. The privately owned line can transport about 110000 barrels of crude oil daily to refineries near Wymore Arbor State.

Daring theft: 500 bushels of corn stolen from Blair area bins
In a bold month danger, 500 bushels of corn were stolen from government bin sites atop Barry Hill near Blair. A semi truck pulled into the yard after closing hours, holes were drilled in each bin, and corn ran into the truck via a lifted flap. State officials suspect feeders in cahoots, as no corn appears at elevators.
