Feeding test shows corn with supplement boosts pig gain
Shelby Hatchery reports results from a one month feeding trial on two pigs. One fed corn alone gained 16 pounds at a cost of just over 21 cents per pound. the other fed corn plus supplement gained 44 pounds on 112 pounds of grain and 37 pounds of supplement at about 13 cents per pound.
