Preliminary work starts on a 750000 dollar Highway 92 project west of Osceola with Nichols Construction of Geneva moving in to install drainage systems and alter traffic flow at the 81 and 92 junction. Marion Hahn, project engineer, says safety and steady traffic are priorities as Missouri Valley Construction handles grading pavement detours and guard rails. The state plans 160 working days for completion and no formal employment office is set up for hiring at the site.
