The annual high school homemaking style show on April 17 featured seventy costumes made by the models in home making and adult tailoring classes. It included a “French Shoppe” sequence with Miriam Carlson Romona Kresha and staffer Jeanne Hobbauer, plus live mannequins and novelty acts. Nancy Nash sang, slides of the department were shown, and tea was served to guests from seventh to eighth grades, with attendees from Stromsburg and Rising City.
