The Osceola Parent Teachers Association staged a two act home talent program at the Auditorium to raise funds for the domestic science department. The Dramatic Club presented The Happy Day and the Style Show showcased local hats dresses and coats. A violin solo Treble Clef performances and a black face sketch entertained a large crowd. The Gab a lot Club pantomime Wild Nell told a romantic adventure ending in tragedy. Mrs Hanson oversaw event indices and organizers praised the program as a notable Osceola achievement.

Polk's Stunt Day Draws Big Crowd Despite Weather
Community Day in Polk last Saturday drew a large crowd and lively fun. D B Carter dispensed 100 nickels and 100 pennies from the Bank of Polk. J A Falk released six roosters a guinea and a greased pig to entertain youngsters. The Polk Imperial Orchestra performed at the Mercantile store while the Culture Club ladies served lunch. Obituary: Mrs Lydia Drawbaugh Passes in Columbus
Mrs Lydia Drawbaugh died at St Marys Hospital Columbus at 6 45 AM Monday after six months of poor health. She was born January 22 1873 in Polk County and married James Crawhbaugh 31 years ago. Survived by two children Effie Herrod and Earl Crawbaugh, sister Mrs Chris Behle, and brothers John Albert Arnold Grossnicklaus and sister Mrs Amos Wieseman. Funeral held in Columbus, body later interred at Rising City.

Mrs. W J Query died at her southwest Osceola home on Sunday April 15 1923 after a brief illness. Funeral held at M E church with Rev W W Hull officiating and burial in Osceola cemetery. She left twelve children sixteen grandchildren and two sisters and two brothers. Her life was marked by faith service and self denial. Her memory is deeply cherished by family and friends.
