He served in the US Army from mid 1955 to December and spent time in Camp Chaffee Arkansas and Brooke Army Hospital Texas. He leaves his parents a brother and many relatives and friends with funeral at Salem Lutheran Stromsburg. Interment in Stromsburg Cemetery.
