Watson E Beach a Milanville businessman aged about fifty died after being struck by a moving Southern Tier Express near the Delaware River crossing. Engineer Charles Snyder stopped the train after Beach was thrown under wheels. Beach was taken to his home in Milville and died Tuesday morning. He was well known in lumbering and banking circles and had ties to Buffalo Bill's show in 1890.
