Preparations are under way on a monumental scale for the 192 International Livestock Exposition. A vast display of horses cattle hogs and sheep is being organized with extensive interior decorations and visitor facilities. Exhibitors nationwide are preparing stock and finished cattle and hogs as opening day approaches.
A union temperance meeting of three local churches was held Sunday night at the ME church under the local W C T U. The program included music by the orchestra and a temperance gong by the choir. Rev Gilliatt offered prayer, followed by an exercise by four little girls and an address by Rev. Lester of the Bible church on the exile of the liquor traffic.
