A damaged church notice urges parishioners to attend next Sunday at 10 30 AM for a combined worship service at the Methodist church. The pastor announces a sermon on the high purpose of Masonry and asks all to share in a greetings service and song.
The U B churches announce a joint revival beginning June 30 at Oden with Dr J E Shannon preaching. Rev S O Thompson and wife to direct the chorus. An organizing meeting in Odon linked E E Neff as president and D W Hayes as secretary, with a tent committee and music volunteers listed.
Pleasant Hill U B Church with Rev J W McMurtry as pastor held Sunday services and Sunday School. A midweek teaching session was announced for Tuesday evening at Mud Pike with start time at 9:30.
Edwin F. Shake urges attendance at Sunday School as vital to character and duty, pleading parents to enroll children. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 next Sunday in the Methodist church with all city churches participating to honor those who served the nation.
