Mrs. C. Baker and her sons traveled to Burns City on Tuesday to visit relatives, with details of their stay not disclosed in the brief note.
Odon public works applied a coating of oil to many streets this week. The oiling has reduced dust, proven effective over several years and cost efficient in the long run. Mr and Mrs Oscar Hill of Washington visited relatives in the city. Charles Killion of Plainville bought a Chute Butler Player Piano at the Odon Music Store. Mrs J W Freeman traveled to Indianapolis for a visit, as did Miss Effie Shively.
Miss Trucia Allen, Mrs Lee Tarvin, Miss Hildred Cooper, and others visit relatives in this city and nearby towns. Sales include four Holstein cows, twenty ewes and lambs wanted, and various Rexall Store offerings. Local movers purchase homes, move to farms near town, and plan visits to St Bernice, Burns City, and Terre Haute.
